After a 20 year hiatus, A Kitchen 4 Liam is bringing back the delicious Lobster Roll Dinner, which will be hosted following the Amagansett Presbyterian Church's 104th Annual Summer Fair.

"The lobster salad dinner was a huge part of the fair when I was growing up and we felt it had to be brought back," explained Courtney (Hallock) Silhan. "It's upgraded now - with the local farmers and food artisans helping us out with the food it's sure to be a great event!"

The back-to-back Hamptons happenings will be held on Saturday, August 5 at the Amagansett Presbyterian Church. First, the property will be taken over with games, prizes, face painting, and plenty of food.

"The fair has been a family tradition for years," noted Ken Hallock. "My mom did the fair games when I was young, my wife and I took over and now the kids and grandkids are a part."

In addition to the exciting activities for all ages, the Fair will also feature a plant sale, a crafts and jewelry sale, as well as the highly anticipated "Super Raffle" featuring highly coveted prizes like dinner at Almond, East Hampton Grill, Harbor Bistro, The 1770 House, and Nick & Toni's, a stay at the Mill House Inn, a sunset cruise on Mary Lloyd Charters, artist prints from Chris Foster and John Alexander, kids bikes, a paddle board, kayak, gift certificates to Golden Eagle and One Stop Market, a CSA membership from Amber Waves Farm, and much more.

"It's evolved over the years, we now have tents instead of branch awnings, but the vibe is the same - kids and adults alike all enjoy a day at the fair," explained Hallock.

After attendees work up an appetite from the Fair fun, they can relax and mingle with community members as they nosh on a tasty lobster roll dinner that will include a Lobster Roll, Balsam Farms Roasted Corn, Amber Waves, Coleslaw, North Fork Potato Chips and a treat from South Fork Bakery.

Admission to the Fair is free and entrance to the Lobster Dinner is $30. Proceeds from the Fair support the Amagansett Presbyterian Church, while proceeds from the dinner benefit the Church's Scoville Hall Community Center, which "houses many local non-profits and gives local artisans and farmers a space to produce their goods as well as a space for local groups to meet."

The Fair will take place on Saturday, August 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, August 6 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m) and The Lobster Roll Dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
