On Saturday, March 19th, Children's Museum of the East End (CMEE) is celebrating the start of spring during its annual Mad Hatter Egg Hunt.

"The Mad Hatter Egg Hunt is such a wonderful way for the Museum to welcome spring," shared Liz Bard, the Museum's Education Coordinator.

Little ones of all ages will begin their session by designing and embellishing their own hats and bags. Once they've created their masterpieces, the quest for "Eco" Eggs is on. The scavenger hunt prizes are filled with healthy delights and other surprises that have been carefully scattered inside and around the Museum.

Due to high demand CMEE will host two Mad Hatter Egg Hunts. The first is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second is from 1 to 3 p.m. "With two sessions this year," she added, "even more families can join us for a day of games, crafts, and searching for eggs!"

Children's Museum of the East End is currently holding its community Head Start donation drive and attendees are encouraged to participate by bringing an item from the donation list. Suggestions range from diapers to toiletries to cleaning supplies. Long Island Head Start's mission is to provide the mechanisms necessary for families to break the cycle of poverty and to provide high quality, comprehensive child development and family support services through the involvement of parents, communities and staff.

Admission to the Mad Hatter Egg Hunt is free for members and $10 for non-members.

Children's Museum of the East End is located at 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton. For more information, call 631-537-8250 or visit www.cmee.org.
