On Saturday, September 10th, join Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) for its 7th Annual Benefit at the Boardy Barn in Hampton Bays. From 6 to 10 p.m., the entertaining evening will amuse attendees as they explore the impressive Chinese auction and more covet-worthy items featured in the silent auction, take a chance on exciting door prizes and the 50/50 raffle, nosh on a delicious buffet dinner and listen to live music by Second Shift.

"We are very excited for our 7th Annual Benefit at the Boardy Barn," shared Kate McEntee, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation Director of Public Relations and Marketing. "We want to thank the Boardy Barn for donating the venue and supporting us throughout the years. Owners Mickey and Tony donate not only the physical location but their staff and the band as well."

Year after year, East End supporters come out to celebrate the Shelter during the post-holiday weekend benefit. "It has been a very successful fundraiser in the past because of our community and its members," she noted. "It is amazing to see how our community comes together and supports this fundraiser and our shelter. We are really looking forward to Boardy Barn 2016!"

The fundraiser would not be possible without the generous assistance of SASF's dedicated volunteers. "This benefit is organized, planned and run by a group of our shelter's loving, loyal and hardworking volunteers," explained McEntee. "We would like to thank everyone who puts so much time and effort into helping our shelter with this event. Big thank-you to our event chairwoman and SASF volunteer, Susie Kinscherf."
