New Granular Winter Tick Treatment

Monday, December 2, 2019 - Tuesday, December 31, 2019

12:00 am

Brian Kelly, owner of East End Tick, says the arrival of winter does not mark the end of tick season. Ticks are active and search for blood when the temperatures are above freezing. Last winter, every day exceeded 35 degrees and there will be warm days this winter, too.

Despite the cooler months, ticks will still lay eggs under leaf litter. To prevent this issue, East End Tick announced a new winter treatment. Tick Shield applications will take place between the months of December and March and customers can call East End Tick and Mosquito Control directly to schedule their treatments.
