The music of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens will NOT FADE AWAY...

On February 2nd, 1959, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper performed at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. The plane crash that occurred hours later changed music history forever. The event was dubbed "The Day The Music Died" in Don McLean's hit song, "American Pie." Using information gathered from documentaries, books, and the memories of musicians at the show, THE NIGHT THE MUSIC LIVED recreates Buddy Holly's last concert with utmost attention to detail and accuracy.
