A Woodland Retreat Between Meadow and Ocean

Saturday, July 13, 2019

11:00 am

Alexandra Munroe is a scholar and curator who approaches gardens as exhibitions, journeys through interlinked ideas, visions, and experiences. In her extraordinary woodland walk showcasing choice Asian plants, an intimate, inviting space, towering cryptomeria, cypress, and rhododendron are underplanted with shade-loving perennials, including a collection of rare Ariseama. Dr. Munroe will welcome guests into this sanctum, and discuss the ideas and plants that make it so very special. Space is limited; registration required.
