Party, Party, Party, Dine, Dine, Dine. Wow! What a great July 4th of 2008. Although Morris arrived out on Thursday just about the time I barely finished a spin class at Zone Hampton (ouch! still sore), the weekend line-up really heated up on Friday with the late, late night P. Diddy 4th of July Soiree at Lily Pond in East Hampton, but only after a delicious dining experience at Nick & Toni's restaurant, also in East Hampton.

On Saturday, after shaking off the daze of Diddy's dancing the night before, where the skirts were short and the guys were buff - I headed through stiff traffic to my friend Jill Stuart's boutique at 62 Circle in East Hampton for a chat on accessories, dresses, and everything a girl will need to look Hamptons cool, chic and hot. As expected, Jill Stuart does not disappoint to highlight ultra-feminine sandals, bags, and pieces in her shop from the Jill Stuart summer collection. You will for sure want to get to her East Hampton boutique for all of your must-have summer dresses and more. Trust me you don't want to miss out on this! After Jill's place, I took a quick stroll to London Jewelers for something big, shiny, and bright! I walked out with a rose gold and diamond ring and yellow gold bracelet both by Roberto Coin - very nice.

And what a Saturday this was - I couldn't believe this day was so not over yet, at around 2 p.m., I jumped in my ride, dropped the top, and headed over to Bridgehampton to the HYT ME Mansion for the 1st Annual Green Party. The mission of the day - to educate garden goers on the importance and possibility of being eco-sustainable while not having to forego luxury products or lifestyle. With performances from artists like pianist Eric Lewis, a slammin' DJ, and green vodka and beers, guests were surrounded by great music, smart products and the beautiful green mansion exteriors. Sponsored by Haven, this Annual Green Event is sure to catch on quickly and help us all remain intelligent green-inspired consumers. Soon it was time to head back to East Hampton for more fun.

I napped for a bit, - but awoke refreshed and psyched for the Ron Perelman annual July 4th weekend bash at The Creeks. This is a great invite if you can get it and the amount of celebrities is always fun and high wattage, thus I can't talk about the rest of the evening much (except for outstanding food and desserts, good drinks, and on-stage performances by some of your favorite bands and lead singers). Suffice it to say, Ron is a private man and after this exciting event, I do want to be invited back again next year.

Sunday was steady with the gathering at the Reginald F. Lewis Estate on Lily Pond Lane. This celebration of Frank and Lolita Savage is in honor of the $1 million dollar fundraising efforts for the Reginald F. Lewis Museum Endowment Fund. Here, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs was actually in attendance and honored by Loida Lewis (widow to R.F. Lewis) as a Millennium Circle Inductee for his talents and entertainment visions. You too can participate in the Reginald F. Lewis Museum fundraising efforts by going to www.reginaldflewis.com to make your donation.

Quiet Sunday afternoon otherwise with a property walk-thru with myself and Interior Designer Libby Langdon in preparation of the VH1 Concert and Private Dinner on Friday, July 18. A girl has to make plans if she is going to entertain 600+ guests and a private dinner for friends. Libby and I met at my house for a bit and choose tones in silvers and greens in support of dinner sponsor Tanqueray No. Ten then we moved the party over to The Palm Restaurant for soothing cocktails and a wonderful 'close-out the weekend' dinner with Morris in tow.

I truly hope you enjoyed the holiday with family and friends and thank you so much to our brave troops who help keep us proud to be American and allow us to live in the greatest safe country in the world.
