The Scoop: The Hamptons 2013 Summer Season Begins

This weekend Carson Kressley will be hosting an event for Miracle House at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. Across town at Georgica Restaurant, models and millionaires will descend for the annual Jessica White's Angel Wings Foundation benefit. ARF will be hosting their annual designer showhouse where the public is welcome to join in for the cause while Planned Parenthood throws their annual star-studded summer party at the Channing Family Sculpture Garden. Southampton Hospital is back at Westhampton Country Club for their annual Memorial Day Weekend gathering.

Once the galas come to a close, it's time to party like a socialite. There is no shortage of Hamptons Hot Spots this season with VIP service. Add SL East, South Pointe, Georgica, Southampton Social Club, and the returning Pink Elephant to your list of favorites and join in on the fun. When dinner time comes around, be sure to check out some of the new foodie hot spots like Delmonico's, BLT Steak, Fresh, The Cuddy, Madison & Main, 360 East, and La Brisa.

When it's time to wind down, feel free to indulge in a little retail therapy. C. Wonder is breaking out the candy bar so you can fuel up with a sugar-rush, Missoni Home has us in their signature zig zags, and Joe Fresh keeps it affordable in Southampton. Further out east check out Made in Montauk for resort wear, Jack Rogers for sandals in East Hampton, and Serena and Lily in Wainscott. For a more family friendly feel, head to Riverhead for the annual Street Painting festival where chalk artists make over Main Street or hit Coopers Beach with the kids and fly a kite for the annual Kites For A Cure benefit. Headlining at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, funny man Mario Cantone take the stage for an adults-only performance that will leave you rolling down the newly-remodeled aisle.
