Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) is back at it again. On Saturday, June 20, OFVS will present Our Third Virtual Variety Show. At 7 p.m., via Zoom, OFVS will highlight a group of beloved singers, dancers, drag queens, fire dancers, aerial artists, belly dancers, comedians and more.
“We are so excited for this show because we are truly taking full advantage of our unique situation right now,” Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, Our Fabulous Variety Show Inc. Directors, Producers, and Founders, shared. “Being able to bring performers together from across the country and being able to have audience members tune in from across the country to see their loved ones perform when they never could make our in person shows has been such a beautiful silver lining of COVID times productions!”
OFVS’s third iteration will once again feature fan favorites from across the country and also many local talents. “We have belly dancers, sword dancers, an epic and death-defying balancing act, aerial artist Laura Haley, NYC comedian Tyler Fischer, local singers Andrina Wekontash Smith, Nora Conlon and Caly Stewart and dancers Colleen Edwards and Lauren Dattis!” the duo noted. “We also have Our Fabulous Variety Show actors and dancers bringing fun and innovative virtual dance and sketches!”
The evening will launch with a special pre-show set from musician Nora Conlon. The festivities will also encompass a balancing act with Axel, drag queens Naomi and a special interview with Danny Ximo of RaffaShow, vocalist Indira Roth, dance acts led by Danielle, Gabriella and Madison Kocal, as well as OFVS’s Anita Boyer, Patrick Conlon, Sasha Dutrieux, Sasha Garcia, Olive Guinan, Kasia Klimiuk, Sophie Lancashire, Joe Pallister, Violet Rand, Jadiel Rodriguez, Fairleigh Stewart, Brooke Willingham, Abigail Vogel and more.
In addition to the entertaining acts, there will be raffles, giveaways, and so much more.
The Our Virtual Variety Show ticket cost is donation based (with a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids). Once you make a donation, you will receive an email with instructions on how to watch the performance. Proceeds will support the performers, as well as future OFVS programming, and a portion of the proceeds from this show will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Movement.
“It is sad to miss the energy of live rehearsals and audiences – but the Virtual Variety Shows have truly been a heartwarming and inspirational stop-gap to keep us all connected and creating!” Boyer and Klimiuk concluded.
