After a brief hiatus,
the All Star Stand-Up Comedy Show series is back at
Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center on Friday, September 27 at 8 p.m.
Presented in partnership with comedian
Joseph Vecsey, who you most likely recognize from Optimum's
UnMovers, the fall kick-off will be hosted by James Mattern.
"All Star Stand Up Comedy is back with a brand new line up at
Bay Street Theater," Vecsey noted. "Really excited that we are approaching our 10th year soon and people are coming to support live stand-up comedy."
The evening will feature copious crack-ups courtesy of headliners Greg Stone and Brendan Eyre.
Mattern, a nationally headlining comic and radio personality, has appeared on multiple television programs, including Fox Sports One's
Garbage Time with Katie Nolan, The WWE Network's
The List, MSG Network's
The Bracket, and
The Artie Lange Show, as well as
CBS Sports Radio's
The Mojo Show. He served as the audience warm up for Fox Sports One's
Crowd Goes Wild and was a "man on the street" for Sirius-XM's
Ferrall On The Bench.
Eyre has showed off his comedic chops on
Late Night with Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, and
Gotham Comedy Live. The Sirius XM regular participated in the popular New Face of Comedy showcase at Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Eyre co-hosts the
Rad Dudecast Podcast - "an irreverent mix of stupidity and genius"- with Anthony Devito and Stone.
Stone, who according to his website is "regarded by his peers as one of the funniest storytellers in New York," is a regular at several notable Manhattan comedy clubs and independent shows. He's been featured on
NBC's
America's Got Talent, TruTV's
Friends of the People, and AXS TV's
Gotham Comedy Live, as well as Sirius/XM Radio's
The Bennington Show and the
Tuesdays with Stories podcast. And, his website also advises, "Ask him politely and he'll tell you about the time he drunkenly jumped on stage with
Michael Bolton."
"Especially in this climate where things are more sensitive, it seems the All Star Comedy Show has found a home with Sag Harbor and the Hamptons," Vecsey added. "I wanna thank everyone for their support and continuing to come out and enjoy the show."
Tickets to the All Star Stand-Up Comedy Show are $30.
