Hampton Theatre Company's third production of the 2016-2017 season will feature Bernard Slade's An Act of the Imagination
The play, set in the 1960's, follows an odd man and his adulterous affair, as well as a mysterious murder. The plot line, offering a number of unforeseen twists and turns, is said to force audience members to question their own understandings of friends and family.

"An Act of the Imagination
is Bernard Slade's clever and masterful whodunit where duplicity, cunning and deceit promise to keep even the most seasoned theater detectives in suspense until the final moment," said Terry Brennan, General Manager of Hampton Theatre Company.

which Board member Edward Brennan will direct. Matthew Conlon, Rebecca Edana, and Amanda Griemsmann are among the Company's talented cast. Newcomers, Jesse Pimpinella, James M. Lotito Jr., Meggie Doyle, and Cesa Pledger, bring a new light to this theater thriller.
