Grammy nominated pianist, vocalist and composer Judy Carmichael is returning to Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts for a special performance of her “This is my Lucky Day!” cabaret show on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m. The Sag Harbor favorite was the first musician to hold a concert at Bay Street when the theater first opened.
For her latest show, Carmichael will charm the audience with new compositions, as well as cherished classics from the Great American Songbook, during the evening of piano, sensual vocals and spirited wit. The singer will be accompanied by her writing partner and saxophonist Harry Allen, guitarist Chris Flory and bassist Pat O’Leary.
“Judy Carmichael is a great entertainer,” expressed Jonathan James Moore of BBC Radio. “Her playing is masterly and her linking material show her to be a raconteur in the Ustinov mold.”
Attendees will also have the chance to meet Carmichael during a VIP cocktail party following the performance.
Tickets begin at $45.
