Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host Kelly Ripa and her husband and producing partner Mark Consuelos have joined forces with Kapital Entertainment to develop a one-hour drama for Freeform based on Jasmin Rosemberg's 2008 book How the Other Half Hamptons.

Ripa and Consuelos, who are longtime Hamptons residents, will serve as executive producers through the couple's Milojo Productions, along with Albert Bianchini.

The series will revolve around three best friends, Rachel (the virtuous one), Jamie (the unpredictable friend), and Allison (the unanticipatedly single serial monogamist), who head to the Hamptons where they will experience the always interesting sharehouse life.

During the course of sixteen weekends, the group will share a ten-bedroom house with forty randos, enjoying all that comes along with bunking with strangers - endless parties, shared spaces - mirror time can be hard to find, cringeworthy hookups, and other entertaining, sticky situations one can get themself into.

Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor of Kapital will also serve as executive producers with Rosemberg as a producer. Freeform Studios will produce the project.

Nicole is the Editor-in-Chief of Hamptons.com where she focuses on lifestyle, nightlife, and mixology. She grew up in the Hamptons and currently resides in Water Mill. www.hamptons.com NicoleBarylski NicoleBarylski
