The American Dream Show put ten new episodes in the can at a WVVH/Hamptons TV shoot at Gurney’s Inn, Resort and Spa.
Entering its 16th season, the American Dream Show is hosted by the charming and intrepid Ingrid Lemme. Along with her hosting duties, Lemme writes her syndicated Mon-Talk column touting the joy of life on The End and also serves as a travel journalist for Seven Stars and Stripes.
Described as “a talk show about people, their heritage, goals, struggles and dreams,” Lemme has interviewed personalities like conservative TV host Bill O’Reilly, actresses Tovah Feldshuh and Aida Turturro and jazz legend Percy Heath, along with local politicians, writers, artists, business leaders and fashion designers.
The American Dream Show is executive produced by Greg and Ernie Schimizzi and broadcast on their independent television station WVVH/Hamptons TV. Along with a worldwide webcast, the entire line-up of WVVH shows can be viewed on Cablevision channel 78 on the East End, Verizon Fios TV channel 14 and Time-Warner Cable channel 1111 throughout the tri-state area.
Yours truly made his second appearance on the American Dream Show during this round of interview tapings, having first appeared over a decade ago when I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Improper Hamptonian Magazine. Among others interviewed were Suffolk Theater Executive Director Bob Spiotto, celebrated author Edward Hannibal, jewelry designer Andi Billow-O’Connor, Meatless Mondays founder Sid Lerner and popular radio host Larry ‘The Duck’ Dunn, to name a few. Hamptons.com Executive Editor Nicole B. Brewer is scheduled for the next round of tapings and it looks like she will joined by Dan Rattiner of Dan’s Papers, among others.
