Guild Hall still has plenty of events coming up including pumpkin decorating, the Met: live in HD presents
Verdi's Otello, part II of gallery talk with
Doug Kuntz, four opening receptions and poetry pairs with Molly Peacock and local resident
Grace Schulman.
On Saturday, October 27, get ready for Halloween with a pumpkin decorating workshop beginning at 11 a.m. The workshop for kids ages 6 and older will have kids decorating pumpkins courtesy of Hank's Pumpkintown in Watermill. Pumpkin decorating will take place at the Boots Lamb Education Center at Guild Hall. Only 20 spots are available, to register contact

Dina Merrill Pavilion at Guild Hall beginning at 1p.m. Verdi's Shakespearean masterpiece returns to the Met with Johan Botha in the title role opposite the acclaimed
Desdemona of star soprano
Renée Fleming and Semyon Bychkov will conduct.
Part II of Gallery Talk with guest curator Doug Kuntz on
Fritz Leddy, will take place on Saturday October 27 at 4:30 p.m. at the Museum at Guild Hall.
Opening receptions for
Frank Wimberley: Winner of the 2010 Annual Guild Hall Members Exhibition; Fritz Leddy Part II;
John Berg; and
ABSTRACTION: Selections from the Guild Hall Museum Permanent Collection will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, at the Museum at Guild Hall.
On Sunday, October 28, Poetry Pairs will feature Molly Peacock and local resident Grace Schulman. The event will be produced and introduced by
Fran Castan. Peacock and Schulman are celebrating their new books with readings with a book signing following the reading which begins at 3 p.m.
