New York City - Grammy Award winning musical icon Olivia Newton-John will headline the "Bondi Beach Bash" on Saturday, June 25, 2011. The coveted crowning ingredient for the event's Australian theme, Newton-John is not only a cinematic icon, but also a multi-genre recording artist amassing over 100 million record sales worldwide. Newton-John will perform the new dance single of her classic hit "Magic," a benefit recording for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Australia. In addition the icon will release her latest CD, "Portraits: A Tribute to the Great Women of Song" on June 21. Thrown in conjunction with Josh Wood Productions, the festivities will place the acclaimed performer on the bill alongside internationally celebrated DJs, Phil Romano and Hector Romero.

Set off shore on Governor's Island for an expected crowd of 4,000, the event will bring Australia's infamous beach stateside, complimented by Manhattan's illuminated skyline as backdrop. Top notch billing will be paired with visuals worth marveling at: a stunning firework display over the East River, the largest outdoor video projection wall in New York's history, massive sound and light installations, and over-the-top décor. All features of course, adhering to the event's Australian theme.

With such an incredible show in the works, it might seem the nightlife masterminds were focusing all their energies on one smash hit. However, this year Tony and Brandon promise their boys a full weekend geared towards celebration. The weekend kicks off at FV's popular Rockit Fridays with a performance by HOUSEROBICS guru Cherie Lily and superstar DJ Enferno. Sunday's closing festivities brings partygoers to the West Village for a daytime celebration following the parade with nightlife icon Candis Cayne.
