The Upstairs Art Fair will return to Amagansett for is second summer.
Organized by Half Gallery and Bill Powers, the fair boasts one of the more unique East End sites – as it stretches across the top floor of a three-story red barn that used to be utilized as an art school.
Unlike many of the airy, tent style art fairs, thirteen galleries will be featured in an intimate setting during the Upstairs Art Fair.
“Interesting what a difference one season can make with Art Hamptons fading out and Upstairs Art Fair along with The Bridge filling the void,” said Powers.
This year’s galleries include Ceysson & Bénétière, Eric Firestone Gallery, Half Gallery, Halsey McKay Gallery, Harper’s Books, Magenta Plains, New Release, Rachel Uffner Gallery, Rental Gallery, The Fireplace Project, 56 Henry, Beauchene Gallery, and Nino Mier Gallery (LA). This will mark the first time that 56 Henry, Beauchene Gallery, and Nino Mier Gallery have shown on the East End.
“I’m excited to have Nicelle and Nino in the mix,” Powers added.
The Upstairs Art Fair will debut on Friday, July 13 – with a VIP preview from 4 to 6 p.m. and a public opening from 6 to 9 p.m. The Fair will also be open on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free and open to the public.
