In celebration of the 2nd Annual Caribbean Art Exhibition, Eastville Community Historical Society will host its 2nd annual Caribbean Cocktail Party at Eastville Heritage House on Tuesday, July 3.

The mixed-media exhibition showcases 65 original works that were created by 13 artists from the Long Island Black Artist Association, including Maxine Townsend-Broderick, Kenneth H. Bradford, Clemente Ettrick, Aaron Scott, David Wilson, Rosa Hanna Scott, Galvin Bisserup, Sharon Burke, Bernard James, Dr. Nichelle Rivers, Neil Williams, Christian George, and James Whitten.

The summer soiree will offer the chance for attendees to view the exceptional exhibition, sip on Eastville Community Historical Society's signature Caribbean Rum Punch and wine, nosh on delish island hors d'oeuvres, and to top it off, there will be irresistible homemade Pina Colada ice cream.

"We invite the public to come celebrate the start of the summer season in Caribbean style with the delicious fare the Caribbean offers, while enjoying our 2nd Annual Caribbean Art Exhibition," said Eastville Community Historical Society Board President Audrey Gaines.

The 2nd Annual Caribbean Cocktail Party will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $30.

Proceeds from the exhibit will support the artists as well as Eastville's programming and projects.

Eastville Community Historical Society's mission is to "preserve historic buildings and research, collect and disseminate information about the history of the Eastville area of Sag Harbor, Long Island, New York, County of Suffolk, State of New York, and one of the earliest known working class communities composed of African Americans, Native Americans and European immigrants."

Eastville Heritage House is located at 139 Hampton Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, visit www.eastvillehistorical.org.
