Southampton locals, Lara McLanahan and Claire Johnston have created an art venture, LOOC Art. It will debut its first pop-up gallery on July 5 and run through July 28, 2012. The gallery (85 Jobs Lane, Southampton) will consist of works from artists, Caio Fonesca and Tomas Vu's debut of surfboards inspired by the Beatles' "White" album. There will be a total of six New York artists.

"The art world can be very intimidating and unapproachable. We've culled the studios of innumerable artists and present unique works by investment quality artists. We offer them with no attitude and an easy, approachable way of purchasing," said LOOC ART's Lara McLanahan and Claire Johnston.

LOOC Art will soon offer studio tours, allow you to engage in corporate and private art counseling in the future! Make sure to keep up-to-date with their continuing success!

The opening reception will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012, and will continue to be open Wednesday through Saturday 12 noon to 9 p.m. If they hours do not work for you, LOOC offers visits by appointment at 914-450-0347.
