Out of the over 115 films from around the world that were screened during the 25th annual Hamptons International Film Festival
, it was Nicolas Bedos' Mr. & Mrs. Adelman
, Lisa Immordino Vreeland's Love, Cecil
, and Jacob LaMendola's Long Shot
that resonated the most with attendees.
Mr. & Mrs. Adelman
, which stars Bedos and co-writer Doria Tillier as a French couple that experience 40 years of pain and joy, earned the Audience Award for Narrative Feature. Love, Cecil
, which chronicles the life of Cecil Beaton - the Oscar-winning set and costume designer of My Fair Lady
won the Audience Award for Documentary Feature. Long Shot
, a documentary that follows Juan Catalan, who was arrested for a murder he did not commit, took home the Audience Award for Best Short Film.

The festival ran from Thursday, October 5 through Monday, October 9.
