Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) and Southampton Arts Center's free Friday night outdoor screenings will continue through August with back-to-back-to-back-to-back Steven Spielberg classics.

Before you get your fix of Spielberg films, enjoy John Hughes' "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on Friday, August 7th." When Ferris Bueller, a high school wise guy, decides to cut school, he calls upon his friends to help him not get caught and hilarity ensues. Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, Alan Ruck, and Jennifer Grey star in the comedy.

On Friday, August 14th, the Spielberg screenings start with "Jurassic Park." During an advanced preview, a theme park experiences a major power breakdown that leads to chaos in its cloned dinosaur exhibits. Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Richard Attenborough star in the 1993 thriller.

On Friday, August 21st, the Spielbergmania continues with "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," starring Richard Dreyfuss, Francois Truffaut, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon, and Bob Balaban. Following an encounter with U.F.O.s, a line worker feels undeniably drawn to a secluded area in the wilderness where something magical is about to happen.

On Friday, August 28th, watch Spielberg's "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is recruited by the US government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis. The film stars Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, and Alfred Molina.

The series wraps up on Friday, September 4th with Spielberg's "Jaws," starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss. The thriller follows a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman, who have set out to stop a gigantic great white shark that has been terrorizing their small island community.
