“This is a great festival in a great location,” expressed actor Bob Balaban about the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF). “It’s a joy to attend for the viewers. And the prefect place to launch your independent film or doc.”
This year, Balaban will serve as an Honorary Chairman of the Festival. The actor has a long history with HIFF, as he was awarded with the 1994 Audience Award for “The Last Good Time,” a film he wrote, produced and directed. Balaban was named a member of the Honorary Board in 1994 too. This fall, the actor will join Glenn Close and John Lithgowjoin for the Broadway revival of Edward Albee’s play “A Delicate Balance.”
The 22nd Annual Hamptons International Film Festival will be held over Columbus Day Weekend, from Thursday October 9, through Monday, October 13, 2014. Founders Passes and a number of packages are currently on sale.
