East End Opry (EEO), an informal collective of singer-songwriters and musicians that are based on the East End, has found a new home at The Coast Grill in North Sea, where EEO will present first class, locally based musicians and original music. EEO will make its Coast Grill debut on Sunday, February 12th at 6:30 p.m.
The Coast Grill owners, Peter and Pam Miller, are ecstatic to open their doors to the musicians and live music aficionados who make East End Opry a successful and well-loved tradition.
“I can’t express how excited I am to move forward with the presence of the EEO to enhance The Coast Grill environment,” owner Pam Miller shared. “Hosting EEO events is a no-brainer for us and a perfect match.”
Fred Raimondo and Randolph Hudson, EEO organizers and founding members, are hosting the first Coast Grill performance. The opening act will be Cosmic Pioneers, beginning at 7 p.m. The featured performer of the night will be Rob Europe, who will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., followed by a mini-set with Glenn Fiedt at 8:30 p.m., and an open mic from 9 to 10 p.m.
The East End Opry live series showcases featured performers on a weekly basis and two 30-minute “spotlight” mini-sets, plus open mic sessions at the end of the evening. The schedule for February includes featured performers Spaghetti Westerners on Sunday, February 19th and Jim Turner on Sunday, February 26th. Klyph Black will host both evenings.
Mariann Megna and Randolph Hudson III founded EEO four years ago. The duo currently manages singer-songwriter Fred Raimondo as well as East End favorite Klyph Black (Zen Tricksters/Black and Sparrow).
