People Say NY is welcoming East End artists to participate in their upcoming Open Mic and Art Show at Hayground School on Saturday, August 23, 2014. The evening will feature performances by artist Jen Suarez and poet Ella Snow. The show is open to musicians, poets, and comedians of all ages.
"People Say NY" started on the premise of a dream by founder and producer Dominique Lamboy, and making that dream a reality. Their mission is to provide an experience where people express themselves freely. According to their mission, "Where there is love, support, and inspiration to be shared, People Say NY brings art back to the fundamentals so we can remind ourselves why artists and art lovers alike do what we do."
Admission to People Say NY's Open Mic and Art Show is $10, and doors open at 8 p.m.
