Follow the path to art at this year's ArtWalk Hamptons in East Hampton. The walk is self-guided and free of charge, but definitely not free of culture and knowledge. The walk will begin at Sotheby's International Realty at 5 p.m. (6 Main Street, East Hampton) and will conclude whenever you desire, or 8 p.m. On July 7, 2012, the event will begin with a reception hosted by Sotheby's, starting at 5 p.m. where you will be able to check-in and pick-up your self-guided maps.

As you experience the ever-growing Hampton's art scene, you will also be greeted by gallery owners, exposed to various retail and other local venues. Participating galleries, all in East Hampton, include Birnam Wood Galleries (48 Park Place), Davenport and Shapiro Fine Arts (37 Newton Lane), Halsey McKay Gallery (79 Newton), Eric Firestone (4 Newton), Gallery Valentine (63 Main Street), Guild Hall (158 Main Street), Linde Gallery (25 A/B Newton Lane), Sotheby's International Realty (6 Main Street), Wallace Gallery of American Art (70 Park Place), and Vered Gallery (68 Park Place).
