Colonel Robert S. Landsiedel and James Cuomo, both veterans, have been officially certified as Military Relocation Professionals by the National Association of Realtors, allowing the duo to offer specialized assistance to current and former military service members and their families that are house hunting across the East End.
As Military Certified Professionals, Colonel Robert S. Landsiedel, who is based in Douglas Elliman’s Westhampton Beach office, and Cuomo, the newest member of the Nigro Team in Bridgehampton, were trained in finding housing solutions that best suit military families’ needs, making the process easier and less stressful by utilizing benefits and support offered, including the best financing opportunities offered through the Veterans Administration. The certification also addresses emotional issues involved with relocation, using the demographics of the military market, and more.
“Douglas Elliman is so proud to count retired service members Colonel Landsiedel and James Cuomo as agents,” explained Carl Benincasa, Senior Vice President of Sales for the Hamptons.
Colonel Landsiedel served as Vice Wing Commander of the 106th Rescue Wing, New York Air National Guard in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. At Douglas Elliman, he works alongside his wife, Jeanne Landsiedel. Cuomo served as a Navy Corpsman for four years.
Additionally, Monica Reiner, a Bridgehampton-based Douglas Elliman agent, has been named a Veteran Preferred agent by the Veteran News Network Project.
“We are even more proud of Robert, James and Monica’s eagerness to provide such an important service to the great men and women of our nation’s armed forces,” added Benincasa.
