The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) is giving you an insider peak into some of the most exquisite homes and gardens throughout the Hamptons during WHBPAC’s House and Garden Tour on Friday, July 14. Attendees will be treated to interior classic designs, views of Moriches Bay, 100 plus year old homes, one-of-a-kind artwork, picturesque gardens, and technologically advanced homes. There will be a home and garden for everyone’s taste on this tour.
Jeanne Curran and Anna Zaleski, the tour’s Advisory Council Co-Chairs, have helped coordinate a House and Garden tour that will exceed all expectations. They have also planned a lunch that is included in the full-day package.
On the tour, you’ll have the chance to see a classic home with views of Moriches Bay, using traditional architectural elements custom for the project. The home features a mix of American antiques and contemporary pieces, as well as a pool area that was created with the color scheme of cobalt blue hydrangea and young spring green grasses. Next, take a trip to Europe at a 100 plus year old, hexagonal, Mediterranean Revival, stucco house with a barrel tile roof that overlooks the prominent croquet lawn at the entrance to the grounds. The two-acre property featuring a 50-foot swimming pool, tennis court, guest cottage, garage and “allee” of 14 Bradford pear trees and two “follies” will make you feel like you’re in paradise. Then, you’ll have some of the best waterfront views from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom in the third home on the tour. With outdoor dining space and a boat slip, you’ll witness the full Hamptons experience. The fourth home is settled in a quiet cul-de-sac that also has picturesque water views. The house was built to specifically capture light and beautiful bayside sunsets that are known to the Hamptons. Take a peak in the open wall wine cellar which leads into the bar wall to add a special touch. Lastly, take a step into the future at a platinum certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) home that has an amazing array of technology, all while leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible. There’s air filtration, pool filtration, and compost area in the organic garden. It’s easy to say that no detail has been ignored.
Tickets are $125 for the full-day ticket with lunch included and $85 for the tour only. The House & Garden Tour 2017 will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There’s no better way to spend your Friday than moseying through some of the most beautiful homes and gardens in your community.
