Compass has added yet another Hamptons location as part of its East End expansion. The technology-driven real estate platform recently announced that it will open a new office at 30 Nugent Street in Southampton Village.
“With the addition of our Southampton office, I’m excited to say that Compass now operates in four locations in the Hamptons including Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Sag Harbor, ” said Robert Reffkin, Co-founder & CEO of Compass. “These multiple locations will help us to better serve our agents and clients across the East End.”
This marks the company’s fourth East End office since debuting in the Hamptons just mere months ago. Compass opened its inaugural Long Island office in early October in Bridgehampton, and since then has added locations in East Hampton and Sag Harbor, and now in Southampton.
Despite Compass’ accelerated expansion in the Hamptons, the roll out has been less than smooth. The company, or its newly engaged agents and administrators, has faced lawsuits from local real estate powerhouses Brown Harris Stevens and Saunders Associates alleging breach of contract and theft of proprietary data, among other complaints.
