Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc. (ARF) will hold its 29th Annual Garden Tour, “Celebrating the Village of Southampton,” on Saturday, June 20th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. One of the longest running garden tours on Long Island, the ARF Garden Tour will feature six magnificent gardens in the historic Village of Southampton.
The private gardens on the tour include the garden of Katharina Otto-Bernstein and Nathan Bernstein, The Fairwind Garden, the garden of Anke and Juergen Friedrich, the garden of Ashley and Jeff McDermott, the garden of Irene and Bernard Schwartz, and the garden of Margaret and R. Peter Sullivan. Free refreshments will be served at the Bernstein garden.
The 29th Annual Garden Tour is self-guided and ticket holders can view the gardens in any order. A cocktail reception at Blue Haven, the legendary home of Lisa and Donald Jackson in the Village of Southampton, will follow the tour. Barbara Slifka and Mark Fichandler will serve as this year’s chairs.
Tickets for the tour are $85, while tickets for the tour and cocktail reception are $175.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc. (ARF), the leading no-kill animal shelter on eastern Long Island. Since its founding in 1974, ARF has found loving homes for over 21,000 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies.
