Things are heating up for the Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons. During the Montauk Music Festival last weekend, Jimmy Fallon took the microphone at the Montauket to join the East End All-Stars to belch out the Doors’ “Road House Blues.” Jimmy has done impromptu singing at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett and Old Stove Pub in Sagaponack. What I am hoping for is a surprise duet with Jon Bon Jovi at his Blue Parrot in East Hampton, perhaps with co-owner and part-time billionaire drummer Ronald Perlman, also known as “Revlon Bullet Hands,” providing percussion.
Folks have to be pondering exactly how legally separated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow will go about their separate but equal living situation in the Hamptons. Reports state their Malibu home has a new wall in the middle of the house, with his and hers sections of course for the sake of the children. Maybe “Cyril” can get them the permits to do the same at their Amagansett estate. Last summer Gwyneth and her cookbook were the all the rage at the East Hampton Library’s Authors Night. I plan on sending them both a just released new book titled, “Why Good People Can’t Leave Bad Relationships,” by Cindi Sansone-Braff.
Lastly, the wonderful Kardashian’s have rented an exclusive space somewhere behind The Driver’s Seat Restaurant in Southampton to set up a “fake” business for their “reality” show. I guess Southampton Village will now have to put in pink zebra painted “Kardashian Crossing” lanes on Jobs Lane along with flashing paparazzi lights.
