Ducklings Rescued From East End Storm Drain

It was a group effort to rescue five ducklings that were stuck in a storm drain on State Route 24 in Riverside. At around 1 p.m. Southampton Town Police were notified about the stranded wildlife. The Town Police, along with Riverhead Fire Department, NYS Encon, and Wildlife Rescue, helped free all five ducklings and return them safely to their mother.

The evening concluded with the gala dinner held at the American Irish Historical Society Mansion in Manhattan.
