But, with the sale of her NYC apartment, she announced, "I am now officially a Florida business!" Not to worry: She and her NYC staff will still be working in Manhattan and the Hamptons. "In fact," she told us, "I'm flying to New York next week to shoot the Hat Luncheon."

Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center Arts Academy welcomed their first live audience for 2021 during their Spring Music Festival. Students from the academy’s music education program performed in front of the theatre’s first live audience since the pandemic began over a year ago. Safety precautions included COVID-19 testing, socially distanced seating, and staggered arrival/departure times.

ARF's Pet Food Pantry Celebrates One Year Anniversary With Pet Food Collection And Distribution

Last April, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc. (ARF) created a Pet Food Pantry to assist local families with pets. Since it was established, ARF has collected and distributed a total of 9,645 pounds of dry dog and cat food and over 7,240 cans of wet food to the community and local food pantries. The next drop off and pick-up at the ARF Adoption Center (124 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton) will take place on Saturday, May 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

LongHouse Reserve Holds "Rites Of Spring"

Saturday was the much anticipated "Rites of Spring" Opening Day celebration of the 2021 Season at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton. Renewed natural plant growth and four new sculptures were featured. Visitors were able to listen on their smart phones to the voice of LongHouse Founder Jack Lenor Larsen, who recently passed away.

Rally Point East And Manhattan Motorcars Host Charity Rally For St. Mary's Hospital For Children

Rally Point East, a premium members-based club located in the Hamptons centered around the automotive experience, teamed up with Manhattan Motorcars to hold their first charitable rally. Participants gathered at the Manhattan Motorcars Porsche Dealership in New York for brunch and then partook in the 86-mile drive out east. Over 50 cars participated in the day’s rally, held in support of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children.

More Than 600 People Vaccinated At East Hampton COVID-19 Vaccination Site On Saturday

You could feel the sense of relief in the air on Saturday morning at the East Hampton Town Recreational Facility (the former C.D.C.H.property) on Stephen Hands Path, as over 340 people received their second dose of Pfizer's COVID-19 Vaccine and 315 received their first. Volunteers from East Hampton enthusiastically took on roles as Vaccinators, Post Vaccination Assistants, Traffic Controllers, Vaccinator Assistants and more. Everything ran smoothly under the guidance of organizer East Hampton Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc, his Assistant Anne Bell, and numerous others from our Town government.
