Friday, August 17, 2018

Sorkin, who also co-anchors CNBC’s "Squawk Box" and is the author of "Too Big to Fail" and the co-creator of Showtime’s "Billions," led an engaging conversation with Schultz, the long-time former Starbucks chairman and CEO. Schultz recounted his rise from humble beginnings in Brooklyn public housing to growing Starbucks into an $84 billion business—and how he revolutionized the coffee industry along the way. He spoke in depth about how his leadership at Starbucks was marked by a sense of social justice and strengthening communities through human connection and social innovation.
