Hosted by hotel owners Jonathan Baker and Jenny Baker, the inaugural National Rosé Day featured plenty of rosé options, including Hampton Water (by Jesse Bongiovi and Jon Bon Jovi), VieVite, Moet & Chandon, Maison Marcel along with Smirnoff Seltzer in Raspberry Rose.

The 21st annual Hetrick-Martin Institute's (HMI) School's Out proved to be a record-breaking evening. This marked the 40th year of service for HMI, the oldest running metropolitan LGBTQ youth support center, which offers education, counseling, housing, healthcare, food, and many other services for youth who may be struggling with their home lives and social equality.

"What's the difference between a high school graduate and a college graduate? Well, the answer is a million dollars. That's the average lifetime earning gap!" Yes, it's a bad joke, but one that Mission takes to heart. Under McCabe Thompson's leadership for the last five years, Mission has been tackling the war on poverty with programs to inspire students to embrace learning. Monday night, at downtown's hip Capitale, Gala Co-Chairs Katrina Peebles, Stanley Rumbough, and Jean Shafiroff helped raise more than half a million dollars for them to do so.
