LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton celebrated the opening of its 28th season with their Rites of Spring celebration. The gardens welcomed nearly 500 guests coming to see the flowering trees and nearly one million daffodils in bloom as well as new art installed, including works by Wendell Castle, Jun Kaneko, Joseph Walsh, Young Jae Lee, and Will Ryman.

Southampton Hospital Association (SHA) and Stony Brook Medicine celebrated a momentous milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of The Phillips Family Cancer Center. A fully integrated site of the Stony Brook University Cancer Center, The Phillips Family Cancer Center will start providing radiation therapy in May, and will offer medical oncology in August. The Center changes cancer care on the East End by delivering advanced, comprehensive cancer treatments in a state-of-the-art, two-level, patient-centered building and healing environment located at 740 County Road 39A in Southampton, New York.

The "Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow,” the Youth America Grand Prix, celebrated its 20th anniversary at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. The Gala included a performance featuring the top winners of the YAGP international student ballet competition and guest stars from around the globe. The Parrish Art Museum’s annual "Spring Fling" community celebration, fundraiser, and networking event attracted nearly 400 partygoers, raising over $90,000 in support of the Parrish's year-round educational programs for children and adults. The evening included music from DJ Twilo in the Lichtenstein Theater, a silent auction, photo booth, open bar/hors d’oeuvres catered by Elegant Affairs, and exploration of the Parrish galleries.

Taste of Tuckahoe paid homage to the East End's culinary scene during the 9th annual fundraiser for the Tuckahoe School at 230 Elm in Southampton. Attendees enjoyed bites and sips from over 15 local favorites, Chinese and Silent Auctions, an open bar, and live music courtesy of VIP hour host Liam Meaney and DJ Chris Cenzoprano, all in support of enhancing the education of Tuckahoe students.
