's (AHA) lifesaving work. This year's soiree raised over $700,000.
The 2018 Hamptons Heart Ball celebrated Audrey & Martin Gruss
, of The Audrey and Martin Gruss Foundation, as well as Dr. Apostolos K. Tassiopoulos, Department Chair of Vascular Surgery at Stony Brook and Director of the Heart and Stroke Center at Southampton Hospital
, philanthropist and author, and Chuck Simonton, M.D., Chief Medical Officer and Divisional Vice President, Global Medical Affairs, Abbott, served as Co-Chairs, while Greg Kelly
was the evening's Master of Ceremonies.

The American Heart Association was founded in 1924 by six cardiologists.
