On Thursday, July 24, 2014, guests gathered at Dockers Waterside in East Quogue for the Annual Maureen’s Haven Lobster Bash, which was sponsored by Long Island commercial real estate firm, Rechler Equity Partners, for the second consecutive year. At the disco themed bash, attendees enjoyed the sounds of DJ Ray of Jarrell Entertainment as the outside deck was transformed into a “’70s-era nightspot.” All proceeds from the evening directly benefited Maureen’s Haven and their work to provide food, shelter and vocational and educational training to the East End’s homeless.
“Everyone associated with Maureen’s Haven is so grateful for the support of Rechler Equity Partners for underwriting the costs involved in mounting this fundraiser,” said Maureen’s Haven Executive Director Tracey Lutz. “Their generosity and the generosity of our sponsors allow the proceeds to directly benefit our shelter programs and day center.”
