In keeping with tradition, Miracle House kicked off summer in the Hamptons with their annual cocktail party on Saturday, May 24, 2014. The organization lived up to its name working its very own miracle with the weather this year. As the rain clouds passed through the East End Saturday afternoon, a shining sun was exposed making way for an incredible setting on the ocean.

Countless men and women gathered at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club for cocktails, gorgeous views of the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean, beautiful hors d'oeuvres, and an auction. As the sun set and the deck became too cool for guests, everyone moved inside to the dance floor for an incredible performance by the talented Martha Wash, who was more than capable in getting everyone up and dancing. Through the combined efforts of generous sponsors, auction participants and other donations, Miracle House was able to raise an amazing sum of about $200,000. With tired feet and smiles on their faces, guests left the event thoroughly excited for the upcoming summer in the Hamptons knowing they had benefited a tremendous organization.
