Council hosted their third annual spring gala on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The celebratory evening was held in honor of Icim and Mark Miller
of Miller Environmental Group, the lead sponsors of the 2014 ARTworks Gala. East End Arts was able to exceed their fundraising goal by 125% with the help of the donated auction pieces, ticket sales, fundraising, and sponsorship. "Every year the artwork on display gets more and more beautiful," commented an excited guest. "I want every piece for myself, but I'll go broke!"
The event featured live music from the Trevor Davison Swing Band, international performance sand artist Charlene Lanzel, and East End Arts' Student Cello Ensemble.
"The success of this event was in large part due to the extraordinary honorees and a dedicated committee. We are so grateful to the committee and the Miller's for helping to strengthen our ability to bring the arts to the East End. And the philanthropy of our community has made this gala our most successful event ever," commented Patricia Snyder, Executive Director of East End Arts Council.
