This was Cooper's third time in the Hamptons and has known co-directors Klugman and Sterntha since they were 11. The co-directors knew even at 11 Bradley would do anything he set his mind to, he would do it well and that Bradley would be incredibly successful. Klugman and Sterntha wrote "The Words" almost 13 years ago and the inspiration for the movie came from a conversation they had when stuck in traffic.
"The Words" is a multi-layered romantic drama with an all-star cast, which centers on Rory Jansen played by Cooper, who is a talented writer with a beautiful wife and mounting internal and external pressure to achieve success. What he chooses to do in order to fulfill his ambition has the potential to cost him everything, and he soon finds himself repeating the mistakes of someone in the past. Now, the worlds of two men living in different times threaten to converge as both are forced to confront the steep price that must be paid for placing ambition before love.
The film opens September 7th, 2012. For more information visit: www.thewordsmovie.com
