Southampton - Over 800 guests gathered under unsettled skies for "A Tropical Paradise" gala celebrating the 53rd annual
Southampton Hospital summer party. All the Hamptons glitz and glamour was to benefit the Jenny and
John Paulson Emergency Department. As the cocktail hour drew to a close and The
Alex Donner Orchestra began to play the event was judged a major success and whispers of exceeding the $2 million goal were spreading like wildfire.

As one of the only events in the Hamptons that positively glitters many of the ladies were bejeweled in estate pieces from Honorary
Jewel Chair Tiffany & Co. Not to be outdone sparklers from the vaults of Harry Winston, Van Cleef and Arpels, and
Cartier were sprinkled throughout. Diamonds as per expected were the choice of many ladies. The tropical theme can be thanked for the exquisite gowns in a rainbow of hues - chiffon and silks gently blew in the evening air.
