Over $1.1 Million Raised At The School of American Balletís 2013 Winter Ball: A Night In The Far East

The School of American Ballet's 2013 Winter Ball: A Night in the Far East was held at the Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater in New York City on Monday, March 11, 2013. The evening which was sponsored Van Cleef & Arpels included a beautiful performance by the students of The School of American Ballet choreographed by Silas Farley.

Over 400 guests came out to show their support including Corporate Chair Nicolas Luchsinger, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Carolina Herrera, and David H. Koch, Honorary Chairs Coco Kopelman, Elizabeth R. Miller, Liz Peek, and Besty Pitts, and Event Chairs Diana DilMenna, Julia Koch, Jenny Paulson, and Laura Zeckendorf. Other guests that joined the festivities were Kelly Rutherford, ballet legend Mikhail Baryshnikov and his wife Lisa Rinehart. Over $1.1 million was raised during the evening which will go towards providing young aspiring dancers with scholarships and also support the School's student life programs.
