“The goal of this reading series is to bring people together, while showcasing the work of our lesser-known East End artists; our poets,” noted Tyler Armstrong, host of the poetry and wine series at Wolffer Winery.
On Wednesday, January 21st, the final session, “Ice & Snow,” will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. The theme of the event encourages poets to share their “colder” collection. “Inspiration comes from both good and bad experiences, and some of our coldest moments provide inspiration for some of our most passionate, and ultimately warming, works of art,” said Armstrong.
The evening will feature a wide spread of original New York poets including Nancy Wicht and Ivo Tomasini, who will share their “iciest” bodies of work. So as January brings the frigid temperature we’ve all been dreading, enjoy a toasty evening showcasing local talent.
