After his performance on NBC’s “Today Show,” as part of the Toyota Concert Series, Jimmy Buffett is heading to the Hamptons. The Margaritaville man will perform with Tom Curren at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett on Thursday, August 15 at 8 p.m. Long Island rock band Roy Wilson & The Buzzards will follow at 10 p.m.
The Original Wailers (consisting of legendary musicians who jammed with Bob Marley and other renowned reggae artists) will take the stage on Friday, August 16 at 8 p.m. and then enjoy a one-of-a-kind 80’s tribute concert by Rubix Kube at 10 p.m. The David Bromberg Quartet are performing on Saturday, August 17, at 8 p.m. and then things are going to get awkward when Girl Problems take the stage at 10 p.m. Consisting of two shaggy guys (Grammy winner Charles Goodan and Nick Weber) and four classy chicks, their catchy and upbeat melodies will have everyone on the dance floor. Stay for a flashback to the 90’s with the Bayside Tigers at 11 p.m. On Sunday, August 18, Fishead Stew will perform at 8 p.m. followed by reggae night starting at 10 p.m.
Get ready to celebrate on Monday, August 19, because The Talkhouse is throwing themselves a birthday party starting at 9 p.m. Proceeds from the B’day bash will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project. The multi-talented Jesse Harris kicks off Tuesday, August 20, at 8 p.m. and Montauk’s Jettykoon will perform at 10 p.m.
