The Gray Line of New York launched its “Ride of Fame" bus dedication series honoring Emmy award winning, T.V. personality Rachel Ray. (PatrickMcMullan.com)

Southampton - Somehow it feels like everything here is suddenly in full throttle. The weeks ahead are filling up with parties and absolutely everywhere there is something going on! New Television shows about the Hamptons, people securing their summer rentals or getting the homes they already own refreshed and ready to go for the new seasonis upon us. Manhattan is hopping, and all around us it's Spring - Finally! Well here are the latest bits and pieces to chew on!

The Gray Line of New York, NYC's premiere tourism expert, launched its "Ride Of Fame" bus dedication series honoring Emmy award winning, T.V. personality Rachel Ray, as their inaugural dedicatee. Both, Gray Line New York and Ray hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the Rachael Ray Studios in celebration of the inauguration. This ended with Ray and 50 of her fans taking a ride a top of her very own red, double-decker, bus.

It seems as though it is everyone's big chance to be a star these days with so many casting company's getting specific in what they are looking for and asking specific slices of the masses to come on down! The FTC Theatre Company, Bonnie Comley, Dr. Stanley Cohen, Jared Hershkowitz, and Stellar Productions International, Inc. are now casting for their new musical written and directed by four time Tony award winner Stewart F. Lane with music and lyrics by John Denver called "A Moment in Time." Auditions are set for May 17 and May 18. Be prepared to dance; women bring heels and flats; bring 16-32 bars of a John Denver song or some other selection in that style, and a one minute monologue along with pictures and a resume. Get out there and grab your moment!

Kelly Bensimon.

The Housewives of NYC are up to something, as usual. Oh boy! Here is a little story about Maxililiano Palacio and The Real Housewives. We start with Countess LuAnn De Lesseps. It seems Maxililiano may be LuAnn's new love interest. She just commented in an episode that Max "gets around." Argentinean actor and model, Palacio had previously been Kelly Bensimon's "man" toy on "The Real Housewives of New York City" and it appears Maximiliano (a/k/a Max) was also a weekly friend to new "Housewife" Sonja Morgan during her divorce. My how interesting! If you want to see who has all the Housewives so flustered, you can check him out daily on Telemundo's 12 Corazones at 7 p.m. Max is also an Argentina Polo Player, there seems to be one of them lurking in any good story these days, good lord! Max seems a little more interesting then others though since he is able to intelligently speak and share a few things about his history, cloak and daggers of course but at least he shares. At one time, Max was nearly killed after a polo mallet almost punctured his kidney. As a child when business called his father away to Europe, young Max begged his Dad to stay and his father's decision not to do so resulted in them not speaking for years. But Max later ended up snowed in at his Dad's endless ski-resort villa in the Argentine Andes and peace was made. With Max's looks I think he should just thank Dad for being part of the delicious recipe and run with his good fortune and be happy, do you all agree?

Ramona Singer.

Next Housewife come on down! Ah poor Ramona Singer. This Housewife has not yet rented out her Southampton home for the season. Possibly because her theories on rental are a bit out of whack. Singer was heard discussing the possible rental Thursday night. While making an appearance at a Farmingdale fashion show featuring plastic surgery patients (Dear God help us, only on Long Island!) Singer was heard making a comment "We never really do," does not make sense? Why then does Singer have her six-bedroom, six-bathroom, 5,880-square-foot house, on the rental market? She's asking $295,000 from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Well, her next remark of "It's like putting your house up for sale to see what you can get" and "It's a Hampton's thing." It is quite a treat! Ramona, please share more of your thoughts on the East End rental market, will you?

I almost can't bare it - but onto a third Housewife and once again out here in the Hamptons - it appears Jill Zarin is not looking to play "Let's Make A Deal!" Zarin has been looking to buy a house in Southampton, although "The Real Housewives of New York City" star says she's "not in a bidding mood."

After seeing a dozen houses with her husband, Bobby, they found a house in the Estates section near the beach. The asking price is $7.9 million, down from $9.9 million. They put a bid in below the $7.9 million. After placing the bid, another buyer promptly came along and purchased the home for the full asking price. "We're just not in the bidding mood," Zarin told Real L.I. at a Book Review in Huntington promoting her newly published "Secrets of a Jewish Mother." Bobby explains that he and Jill are "not desperate." "This summer we want to travel" he says. "I'm not sure I want this house." After seeing over a dozen homes? Hmmm.....for someone who does not want a summer home it would seem he would be spending more time with his travel agent and less with his realtor?

Mariah Carey.

Zarin also got stuck in the bathroom before recently going on The Joy Behar Show and had to tweet to Behar for help. Sorry, I had to share!

It seems a lot of people are feeling the East End with North Fork and Hamptons sales increased by 142 percent from a year ago, according to a new report prepared for Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate. As seen above and now with our next blip, TV Land has a lot to be thanked for in this new trend.

TV personality Nick Cannon and wife Mariah Carey may become members of the Hamptons Scene "soon." Cannon made remarks to that effect at an appearance at Smithtown High School West while filming a one-hour "Teen Nick HALO Awards" special for Nickelodeon. Cannon said the couple have been thinking about buying real estate in the Hamptons, but have not made any moves yet. "We're going to do something up in this area," Cannon said, "a vacation home or a real home, "soon." This would not be Mariah's first Long Island experience it would actually be a return to her roots as she grew up in Huntington and graduated from Harborfield High School. Perhaps St. Bart's and what not have become tired to the Carey-Cannons and with the baby rumors swirling they are looking for something where they can have a family but still party. Carey's rep recently confirmed that the singer is not pregnant, even though everyone thought she was because she showed up at a Beverly Hills deli looking curvy. Nick? Mariah? Come on down, just ask Madonna, the water's warm, just jump in!

Kim Kardashian.

Drinks are flying! Two days after her dad's intervention, Lindsay Lohan got fired from her next film and was banned from L.A. club The Trousdale after throwing her glass at ex Samantha Ronson's head. Meanwhile, some guy hit on Snooki, from Jersey Shore, (WHY?) in a Miami bar, and when he found out she wasn't interested, he threw his drink in her face! Classy - I hope he does not have the Hamptons on his Summer list!

Playboy photographer Steve Wayda thought Kim Kardashian was "much more relaxed" during her photo shoot than Ashley Dupré, commenting, "Maybe that was because of her sex tape." Wow his tongue is certainly "sharper then a serpent's tooth!"

Never one to deny the impoverished what they truly need, Gwyneth Paltrow supports bringing yoga to inner-city schools. I imagine its not HOT Yoga.

After initially denying rumors that they had split, Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone are supposedly now telling friends they have indeed broke up, and Martone is planning to move out of the Chelsea apartment they share (where friendly neighbors include Penélope Cruz and Bobby Flay). But we also hear that the pair might soon make their love even more permanent - with some matching body art. Tattoo artist Scott Campbell - who is responsible for most of Marc's tats - told Style.com that Jacobs and Martone "were talking about coming in and getting something together." We'll keep an eye out for any new ink. Another new report alleges that Martone was absent from the wedding of Robert Duffy, Jacobs' business partner, last Tuesday in Provincetown. The Boston Herald, however, had a full party report on Duffy's nuptials saying that Jacobs did bring Martone as his guest. Wedding date or not, Marc and Lorenzo started dating in 2008, making their public debut at New York's annual Met Gala. They were later engaged, then rumored to be married over the holidays in December 2009. While no confirmation was ever given, Martone did fess up to an "intimate ceremony" between him and Jacobs in St. Barth's. We will have to stand by to see the final results from this intensely private couple.

Jennifer Lopez.

Paul McCartney lunched with his daughter on steamed vegetables and French fries at Serendipity 3.

The Black Eyed Peas Fergie took over the D.J. booth at a party at Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet's house, spinning for guests Nicky Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, and Audrina Patridge. I would have liked to have been there as I love an under the radar house party!

The landlord of East Hampton's Lily Pond gave up on ousting the club from its space, so summer partying will proceed as planned. That's a relief. Get the ice out! J.Lo's ex is filing for bankruptcy. He is claiming the battle over their revealing home videos left him broke and sad. Let me get out the tissues. Jennifer Lopez, now a married mother of two, has elevated herself to a level of class and distinction, the last thing she needs is some guy from a 100 years ago trying to bite off her success and chase her around with an old sex tape! Weren't sex tapes like five years ago?

Melissa Etheridge's ex, Tammy, blogged that Etheridge is lying about their separation. She hints that the singer is not being truthful about their separation. Well it's certainly a case of she said and she said. Tammy spoke out on her blog following Melissa's appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," in which the singer discussed their separation. "This will be the only place where you will get the truth," Tammy wrote on her blog, Hollywood Farm Girl, "no spin, no drift, I hope to clarify sometimes, that's all." Melissa, 48, told Oprah that her separation from Tammy, 35, last week was "as mutual as those things can be."

Sienna Miller.

She also said that her ex should be allowed to voice her side of the story. Well she is singing it out over the good old internet. "We want to do all the things that are best to keep our children healthy and secure," Melissa told the talk show host.

Last week, it was announced the couple of nine years was seperating. The duo were married in September 2003 and have two children together. Tammy gave birth to the couple's twins in October 2006 after using an anonymous sperm donor.

Night of a Thousand Stars! The Costume Institute's Gala at the Met was this week and the stars came out to make a statment. Even the mistakes were impressive. Some call it the world's biggest fashion show, and this year's gala at the Metropolitian Museum of Art did not disappoint. Always a night for the most bold pieces from the new collections to be showcased. The night was a orgy for the eyes! Short, sexy and bold was a refreshing change from the retiring pastels and nudes flooding the runways and red carpets lately. Fashionista girls like Chloe Sevigny, January Jones, Blake Lively and Carrie Mulligan were all seen looking dazzling and chic. Other highlights from the red carpet were, Sienna Miller who in two words was smokin' hot. Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee used a combination of deep blue eye shadow and liner to create "60's ink pot eyes." Her slightly tousled hair pulled back with a little volume at the crown finished off her modernized Brigitte Bardot look for the night. More on dear Brigitte later!

Taylor Swift.

The Queen of the Night was certainly Jennifer Lopez: Shimmery charcoal and black-rimmed eyes are always sultry. A truly regal gown and what truly made Lopez undeniably gorgeous was her hair. Juan Carlos, stylist at the Rita Hazan Salon in New York City, created it. "Sexy and mildly unkempt hair to offset the stateliness of her gown, by setting it in velcro rollers for a few minutes and then finger-raking it into an up-do." She was stunning and stole the show. Blake Lively with bright pink lipstick could have come off looking clown-like, but Lively proved you can rock the vibrant lipstick trend and still look sophisticated. Gisele Bundchen-Brady took high make-up honors with winged-out smoky shadow few celebs can pull off, her slicked back hair emphasized the dramatic look, and the perfectly applied shadow was striking and not at all like a masquerade mask as can sometimes be the case.

Taylor Swift had an outstanding night which may have been her best to date. A truly stunning soft pastel number that oozed of adult sophisticated class, bold make-up, and to die for hair. Taylor gets an A+!

As promised some Brigitte Bardot news! Bardot, who made St. Tropez famous, has moved back to this Riviera fishing village. For the last 15 years, she has been living outside Paris with her fourth husband - right-wing politician Jean-Marie Le Pen's longtime adviser - Bernard d'Ormale. "But word is they have separated and that's why she moved back to St. Tropez." Bardot is living with her menagerie of animals at her beautiful inland estate. Goes to show, always hold on to your property ladies, let the man take care of you, but keep your property and enjoy the rental income and then when things go south, take your diamonds and return to your previous kingdom. Makes things so much easier than calling the realtor! The sex siren, who quit movies in 1973 to dedicate her life to animal rights, is seen regularly driving around the peninsula with a half dozen dogs in the back of the convertible.

So much talk about the TV Series "Royal Pains," which returns for its second season June 3. "Royal Pains," according to the show's official website, is described as such: "After Hank, a young doctor on the fast track to success, falls from grace when he is blamed for the death of a hospital trustee, he inadvertently stumbles into the world of private medical service for the elite denizens of the Hamptons."

Christine Ebersole, Campbell Scott and Andrew McCarthy appeared in the first season. It is now reported that Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden will guest star in multiple episodes of season two. Harden will play Dr. Elizabeth Blair, "a surgeon, board member of Hamptons Heritage Hospital, and an adversary-turned-mentor to Jill Flint." Currently shooting in the Hamptons, this will definitely be a boon for restaurant sightings throughout the East End! Harden earned an Academy Award for her turn in the film "Pollock."

With all that's happening now, imagine what July will be like, this warm weather clearly has everyone in a frenzy from coast to coast! 'Til next time - keep your ears open folks, always listen to the person talking to you, as well as the person talking next to you!
