, announced the chapter's annual summer gala will be held at the renowned B. Smith
's in Sag Harbor on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. and will include a buffet-style dinner, dancing to the calypso music of Vivian and the Merry Makers and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Long Islanders who depend on the Red Cross for food, clothing and temporary shelter following a disaster. Also provided are meals and activities for senior citizens, as weel as life-saving classes for CPR, First Aid, AED, swimming, and life guarding.
