You can learn about a trio of exceptional Wölffer Estate Vineyard wines from Wölffer Estate Vineyard Winemaker and Partner Roman Roth as you sample them in the comfort of your own home during a virtual wine tasting fundraiser held in support of The Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro (RMHC NYM). The Zoom soiree will take place on Thursday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m.
“Because our customers are not able to come and have the wonderful experience of visiting our beautiful vineyard and Winery or Wine Stand, we thought we would bring a little bit of fun to their homes via a virtual Wölffer wine tasting,” Roth said. “It’s a great way to come together as a community for a great cause.”
Hosted by the RMHC New York Metro New Hyde Park Advisory Board, the evening will highlight Wölffer’s Estate Chardonnay 2019, Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2020, and Wölffer Kitchen Merlot, which will be shipped directly to attendees’ homes.
“We are honored to serve as Event Chairs for this charity event,” said Lauren Summa, who is co-chairing the event with Eric Simonson. “It’s important to stay creative and find new ways to fundraise for families who depend on RMHC NYM programs and services,” added Simonson.
Tickets to the virtual wine tasting event with Wolffer Estate Vineyard are $100, which includes the three bottles of wine. Event-goers must register by Sunday, April 18.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro’s mission is “to build a community of compassionate care by creating and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of sick children and their families.” It does so through the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park and two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, which offer a place for families that have to travel a great distance for their children to receive lifesaving medical care to rest and recharge.
