Stony Brook Southampton Hospital
's 60th Annual Summer Party will celebrate John Catsimatidis and Bruce Mosler. Taking place on Saturday, August 4, Chuck Scarborough
will serve as this year's emcee.
"This year is our 60th Annual Summer Party and we are very proud of our legacy of supporting vital Emergency Care Services for our communities," noted Steven Bernstein
- Chief Development Officer, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital
and President, Southampton Hospital Foundation. "In the past few years, we have advanced our ability to provide accessible, high quality care and, together with our Stony Brook Medicine
partners, we look forward to having fun on Saturday night but also raising the necessary funds for our continued growth over the next decade and beyond."
From 6:30 to 11 p.m., hundreds will gather under the air-conditioned tents at the corner of Wickapogue and Old Town Road in Southampton for an evening of cocktails, dinner, and dancing in support of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's Jenny and John Paulson
Emergency Department. Lawrence Scott Events will transform the blank canvas into a spectacular vision while Groove Society will entertain the crowd with tunes. There will also be an array of spectacular silent auction items, as well as a raffle with an exciting $25,000 cash prize.
The Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department is the sole provider of emergency care on the South Fork. It treats over 25,000 people annually.
"Our goal is to provide the best of community and academic medicine for the East End," Bernstein added.
Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is the first East End-based hospital to be recognized by the NYS Department of Health as a provisional Level III adult trauma center, which allows the Hospital to offer aid to the most severely injured patients. For trauma patients, quick treatment can result in the difference between life and death, so support for this essential service is vital.
Tickets to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's 60th Annual Summer Party start at $500.
