You can help the East Hampton Little League hit a home run before their season even starts.
On Wednesday, February 28 a benefit Trivia Night with quiz master Paul Johnson will be held at The Springs Tavern in East Hampton from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and all are welcome.
“We are looking forward to the Trivia Night format and thank Paul and Springs Tavern for making the event possible,” shared David Rutkowski of East Hampton Little League.
Trivia-goers can expect six rounds in total. Topics will range from local trivia to baseball to movies to food and drink to general knowledge and even an audio round.
Teams can consist of up to five members, and for those who come solo, the League will place them on a team.
This benefit helps the League offset costs to keep participation affordable. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door – which includes one complimentary beverage and small bites.
The East Hampton Little League was founded in 1990. The non-profit presents softball and baseball for players ages 7 to 12 that reside in the hamlets of Montauk, Amagansett, Springs and East Hampton.
The Springs Tavern is located at 15 Fort Pond Boulevard in East Hampton. For more information, contact Dave Rutkowski at 631-681-7086.
