On Saturday, August 5, join Southampton Hospital, as well as Benefit Chairs Terrence McNally and Tom Kirdahy and Marigay McKee and Bill Ford, Honorary Chair Georgina Bloomberg, and Corporate Chair Douglas Elliman Real Estate, to revel in the season and support vital funding for the Hospital’s Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department during the 59th Annual Summer Party. From 6:30 to 11 p.m., attendees will be treated to a delicious dinner catered by Lawrence Scott Events, music by Groove Society, a spectacular silent auction and raffle – with an astonishing $25,000 cash prize, and other exciting happenings, all of which will take place under the air-conditioned tents at the corner of Wickapogue and Old Town Road in Southampton.
“This year, we are celebrating the 59th Annual Summer Party, a Hospital tradition with the longest history of any fundraising event on the East End,” noted Robert S. Chaloner, President & CEO. “Funds raised enable the critical care patients receive 24/7 at the Jenny and John Paulson Department of Emergency Services, and we are deeply appreciative of all who have supported this event this year and in the past.”
Southampton Hospital’s Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department is the only provider of emergency care on the South Fork, and sees over 25,000 people annually.
Southampton Hospital has also been recognized by the NYS Department of Health as a provisional Level III adult trauma center, the first one on Long Island’s East End, which enables the Hospital to provide care to the most critically injured patients. As the Hamptons population significantly increases during the summer season, access to close trauma care is essential as readily available treatment for trauma patients can mean the difference between life and death.
Tickets to Southampton Hospital’s 59th Annual Summer Party are $500 per person.
